PEDESTAL BASE PLATE: The Ultralite is a compact solution for field use for small cameras 2-7 pounds. The pedestal base can be used to set the unit down when not in use. This is ideal for panning or still shots positioned on any table top. The pedestal base allows continued shooting in between action shots without requiring an additional tripod. No tools are required to assemble this new hand held stabilizer. Screw in the expandable post to the lower strut, and do the same with the counterweight.
